New Jersey Health Initiatives (NJHI) is a statewide grantmaking program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF). Established in 1987 in honor of the New Jersey philanthropic legacy of RWJF's founder, Robert Wood Johnson, NJHI is committed to supporting initiatives that address the array of health and health care problems facing our state.
NJHI supports a wide range of community-based service implementation projects by awarding competitive grants annually. Grant-funded projects focus on health services delivery, improvement in health, and the expansion of leadership expertise.
