The Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) recently announced that John Lumpkin, MD, MPH, senior vice president and director of the Health Care Group of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), was elected chairman of the board of directors. He was elected to a three-year term at the hospital’s annual meeting.
“This is a challenging, but exciting time for any hospital,” Lumpkin notes. “As an academic medical center we must not only embrace change, but we should lead change. I am looking forward to working with our entire Board, medical staff, hospital leadership and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School to ensure that we fulfill our mission of delivering compassionate, high-quality patient-centered care.”
